Twenty years ago, at the northern foot of Lizhou, along the ridge of Yaojiacheng Mountain, the land was barren and desolate. Yet amid this desolation stood two simple factory buildings, each housing several smelting blast furnaces. Dozens of employees worked tirelessly under the scorching sun, sparks flying everywhere as they toiled away. The fruits of their labor were abundant—this was the birthplace of Yongkang Chengbei Foundry, the predecessor of Qunsheng Group. Over the years, the company weathered countless storms and endured countless hardships. At one point, a sudden violent storm struck, causing the factory buildings to collapse and damaging much of the equipment. But all the employees, united in spirit and resolve, worked day and night without rest, rushing to repair the damaged machinery. In just a few short days, they managed to rebuild the factory and resume production—a display of extraordinary unity and cohesion that was truly rare. From these trials emerged the Qunsheng spirit: “Boldly explore, dare to take risks, strive tenaciously through hardship, and benefit society.”

Heading south to Guangzhou and north to Qingdao, the ancient city of Xiangzhou shines with brilliance. Over the past decade, Chengbei Foundry has worked tirelessly and devoted itself wholeheartedly to its operations, ultimately becoming the leading manufacturer of gas stove burner heads in China and firmly establishing its high standing in the industry, thus achieving substantial capital accumulation during its entrepreneurial phase. As spring breezes swept southward and great leaders delivered their speeches, private enterprises ushered in a second wave of entrepreneurial boom, seizing opportunities and undergoing transformative changes. In 1989, responding to market trends, Chengbei Foundry established the Yongkang Security Equipment Factory, becoming one of the four door-security manufacturers then operating in Yongkang County.
