Steel-frame wooden fire doors feature steel door frames, while the door leaves have a fire-resistance rating and thickness comparable to those of wooden fire doors.

The steel-wood fire-rated door features expansion-type fire-resistant sealing materials at the joint between the door frame and the door leaf, as well as at the center seam of double-leaf doors. The hardware accessories must be fire-rated. The maximum dimensions for steel-frame wood fire-rated doors are as follows: single doors of Class A, B, and C—1100×2300 mm; double doors—1800×2300 mm. Fire-rated glass can be installed instead of a door mirror. Glass dimensions are: 3000×800×30 mm (Class A); 300×800×25 mm (Classes B and C).
