Wooden medical door
The requirements for medical doors are significantly higher than those for ordinary doors, because in hospitals, wheelchairs, stretchers, and medication carts enter and exit almost daily, inevitably causing bumps, impacts, and scratches to wooden doors and door frames. Not long after the project is put into use, doors and door frames begin to show varying degrees of damage. The longer the doors are used, the more severe the damage typically becomes. Due to the special nature of their application in hospital wards, medical wooden doors have been designed and manufactured with enhanced capabilities tailored to meet their specific operational needs.

The requirements for medical doors are significantly higher than those for ordinary doors, because in hospitals, wheelchairs, stretchers, and medication carts enter and exit almost daily, inevitably causing bumps, impacts, and scratches on wooden doors and door frames. Not long after the project is put into use, doors and door frames begin to show varying degrees of damage. The longer the doors are used, the more severe the damage typically becomes. Due to the special nature of use in hospital wards, their design and manufacturing processes have been enhanced to better meet these specific operational requirements.
1. Aluminum alloy edge sealing
All doors, door frames, and door threshold trims are edged with aluminum alloy profiles. The surfaces of operating room doors exhibit no sagging, shrinkage cavities, edge bulging, or wrinkled skin; the edges and corners are essentially consistent with the surface, and there are no defects such as scratches. The installation gaps on the door panels of ward rooms are uniform and meet the required standards, and the door frames are installed squarely without any distortion. Compared to traditional painted door edgings and PVC edgings, its advantages are:
1. Superior Edge Banding Technology: We employ an aluminum alloy edge-banding process that ensures the quality of the edge banding remains unaffected even as wooden doors and their door frames absorb moisture (expand) and release moisture (contract).
2. Corner protection against impacts: Since the aluminum alloy edge banding uses fully enclosed corner trims, the 90-degree corners around doors, door frames, and door threshold strips are completely covered. Even in the event of impacts or scratches, there will be no chipping, pitting, or visible scratches at the wood’s edges. This fundamentally solves the problem of damage to sharp corners during use.
3. Balanced Temperature and Humidity: Thanks to the tight sealing and the absence of damage at the edges and corners, there are no factors that could cause local imbalances in moisture absorption or release. As a result, the wood inside the product consistently maintains the same moisture content it had when it left the factory (gradual moisture equilibrium). Even if indoor temperature and relative humidity fluctuate due to seasonal changes or the operation of central air conditioning, the door and its frame will still expand and contract while remaining in a state of equilibrium.
4. Integrated Design: Thanks to the use of corner wrapping and continuous edge banding, there are no issues such as imperfect sealing, glue seams, or black lines. All edge-banding connections blend seamlessly together, resulting in perfectly horizontal and vertical alignments.
