Union Delivers Cool Relief, Protects Workers from Heat and Ensures Their Well-being | The Yongkang City Federation of Trade Unions Sends Cooling Care to Frontline Workers at Qunsheng Doors and Windows

Recently, many regions across the country have experienced a sustained heatwave, prompting the National Meteorological Center to issue orange-level high-temperature warnings for several consecutive days. To cope with the intense heat and strengthen heat-prevention and cooling measures at frontline workplaces, the Yongkang City Federation of Trade Unions delivered bottled water, refreshing beverages, and heat-relief kits—among other cooling supplies—to employees at the Qunsheng Doors and Windows Workshop on the morning of July 25.
The Yongkang City Federation of Trade Unions, in response to the actual needs of workers engaged in high-temperature operations, has carefully selected a range of heat-prevention items, including mineral water, Wang Lao Ji herbal drink, cola, and heat-relief kits. The heat-relief kits contain a complete set of anti-heatstroke supplies, such as Huoxiang Zhengqi Water, Huoxiang Zhengqi Pills, Keli Sha Capsules, Wushi Tea Granules, Fengyoujing balm, and mosquito-repellent floral water. To avoid disrupting frontline workers’ operations, this round of cooling supplies will be distributed by workshop teams, with team leaders from each workshop coming to collect them.
At 10:30 a.m., the cicadas in the trees were chirping tirelessly. Despite the sweltering heat, the employees in the sheet-metal workshop were still neatly dressed. Some were using machines to cut metal sheets, others were engaged in bending operations, and still others were performing stamping work... The workshop was bustling with orderly and efficient activity. Everyone was deeply immersed in their tasks, working diligently and attentively—completely unaware that cool refreshments had quietly been delivered to the site. At the call of the section chief, everyone paused their current work and came forward to collect the refreshing supplies.
“Thanks to the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the company for your care—on a day this hot, getting a cold drink is truly refreshing!” Despite the sweltering heat in the workshop and beads of sweat streaming down their cheeks, their smiles remained bright and radiant. “We’re so grateful for the cool refreshment you’ve provided. No matter how scorching the weather gets, we’ll stay firmly at our posts and ensure that production stays on track.” Employees who received the drinks expressed their heartfelt gratitude again and again. Even the height of summer and the intense heat couldn’t slow their determined steps toward achieving their goals.

We’ve taken measures to avoid having workers perform tasks during peak heat periods and have implemented effective heat-prevention and cooling measures for our staff.
