As we enter the golden autumn season, the air is dry and conditions are prone to fires. To enhance office staff’s awareness of fire safety as well as their skills in evacuation, escape, and firefighting, Qunsheng Doors and Windows organized a fire drill at the office building on the afternoon of September 29.
As the pre-installed smoke detectors in the office building activated and the fire alarm sounded, the fire drill officially began. Office staff immediately responded, following the pre-planned evacuation routes, covering their mouths and noses with wet towels, and quickly and orderly evacuating from their offices while bending low. In less than two minutes, all office personnel had safely evacuated to the designated assembly point.
Qunsheng Doors and Windows specially invited fire safety experts to brief employees on basic fire safety knowledge, including the causes of fires, fire classifications, and techniques and precautions for fire escape.
Subsequently, fire safety experts explained the different types of fire extinguishers and how to use them. Under the on-site guidance of the safety officer, everyone followed the relevant operating procedures, picked up fire extinguishers, and aimed them at the source of the fire, spraying the extinguishing agent. As the dry powder effectively covered the flames, the fire was quickly extinguished. The entire firefighting process was smooth and highly efficient.
This fire drill conducted by Qunsheng Doors and Windows not only tested the office staff’s judgment and response capabilities in the face of a sudden fire, but more importantly, it further enhanced everyone’s emergency response skills through hands-on practice, deepening their understanding of evacuation procedures, escape techniques, and fire-extinguisher usage. The drill covered topics such as how to stay calm in a fire, identify the best escape routes, take appropriate protective measures—like covering the mouth and nose with a wet towel and crouching low to evacuate quickly—and use fire extinguishers correctly and in compliance with safety standards. Through this practical training, employees have become more familiar with and proficient in escape and firefighting skills, providing strong assurance for handling potential fire incidents in the future.
