As the Qingming Festival approaches, to relive the passionate revolutionary years, foster patriotic sentiments, and enrich the lives of Party members, the Party Committee of Qunsheng Group and the Party Branch of Sifang jointly organized a themed educational activity and a youth league craft workshop on April 3.
In the Anti-U.S. Aid Korea Park, evergreen spruces stand silently, gently shading the Monument to the Martyrs and Heroes. At 9 a.m., in the heart of the park, representatives of Party members from Qunsheng Group solemnly lined up before the statue, paying their profound respects to the group sculpture of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army. They bowed deeply and observed a moment of silent mourning, expressing their heartfelt remembrance of the revolutionary martyrs.
Before the group sculpture of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army, the Party member representatives solemnly and respectfully renewed their oath of joining the Party. Everyone expressed that, especially in today’s peaceful era, it is even more important to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, firmly remember our revolutionary history, and never forget our original aspirations for joining the Party.
After visiting the study and research base, we’ll hold a hands-on “Green Rice Ball Entrance, Clearing Hearts for Qingming” activity. The purpose of this activity is to remind all Party members, through the process of making green rice balls, to continuously refine their Party spirit and conduct, and to uphold the fundamental quality of “clarity and integrity.”
The event venue was filled with laughter and cheerful chatter, creating a wonderfully harmonious atmosphere. Everyone rolled up their sleeves, slicing dough, filling dumplings, shaping them, and neatly arranging the finished products—creating a scene of bustling enthusiasm. The pastry instructor in the activity room introduced everyone to the steps and secrets of making qingtuan. Under her guidance, the Qunsheng Party members were thoroughly engaged and delighted, exchanging tips and insights on making qingtuan with one another and savoring the joy of crafting these traditional treats with their own hands.
The green dumplings have a round shape, embodying the Chinese people’s yearning for completeness and fulfillment. The glutinous rice flour, infused with juice from green mugwort, takes on a lush, jade-like green hue and exudes a delicate yet rich aroma of fresh herbs.
Carrying forward the spirit of the Party’s founding, let Qingming become even more meaningful. The “Green Rice Ball Entrance, Qingming Nourishes the Heart” handmade green rice ball activity has come to a successful conclusion. Through personally making these green rice balls, the Qunsheng Party members not only savored their sweet and delicate flavor, experiencing the inheritance of China’s traditional culture, but also felt the vibrant energy and hope of spring—fueled by the Party’s wise guidance.
