Donate Blood Without Compensation, Show Dedication and Kindness | The Party Committee of Qunsheng Group Organizes a Voluntary Blood Donation Event

To promote the spirit of selfless dedication and mutual friendship and solidarity, the Party Committee of Qunsheng Group actively responded to the government’s call and organized employees who met the eligibility criteria for blood donation to participate in the voluntary blood donation event hosted by the Yongkang City Blood Donation Office on April 11 at the company premises. The company’s Party members exemplified the spirit of selfless volunteer service by taking the lead and encouraging everyone to enthusiastically join the voluntary blood donation drive.

In April, the world is alive with spring’s gentle warmth and bright scenery. As a refreshing breeze blows gently toward us, everyone, despite their busy schedules, has taken a moment to gather in the lobby on the first floor. Guided by medical staff, they’ve been completing registration, undergoing necessary checks, and donating blood in an orderly manner. The line at the registration counter is neatly organized; before donating blood, donors must undergo blood type and complete blood count tests to determine whether their blood meets the donation criteria.

Inside the blood donation vehicle, volunteer Xiao Cheng from the Production Department already has a record of five blood donations on his donor card. Compared to his nervous and curious first experience, this year he seems completely at ease and confident. “I’ve been donating blood voluntarily for four years now—neither a long nor a short period. Besides donating at the company, I’ve also donated at mobile blood donation vehicles along the roadside. It’s precisely this habit of donating blood that keeps me motivated and reminds me constantly to take good care of my health.”

One by one, the bright red blood donation certificates bear witness to their repeated acts of selfless dedication; bag after bag of fresh blood firmly joins two strangers’ hands together.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble act undertaken to save others’ lives—a lifelong source of honor. Although, legally, citizens are not obligated to donate blood voluntarily, healthy and eligible citizens who consciously and willingly donate a small, renewable amount of blood to save the lives of critically ill patients without seeking any compensation are actively contributing to the spiritual and cultural development of “Healthy Zhejiang,” supporting the growth of the blood donation cause, and fostering a positive atmosphere of voluntary blood donation throughout society. This reflects the great compassion and generosity of Qunsheng employees.

In the blossoming month of April, when all things begin to stir and thrive, we salute these selfless blood donors—whose generous contributions have illuminated the colors of life and raised the banner of hope. As Lin Huiyin once wrote: “You are a tree full of blossoms, a tender murmuring of swallows beneath the rafters. You are love, you are warmth, you are hope—you are April in this world.” Here, we extend our deepest respect and admiration to all the generous unpaid blood donors!
