Using “performance” as a form of combat and “training” as the foundation for defense—Qunsheng Doors & Windows Conducts Fire Safety Emergency Drills

Recently, in order to strengthen enterprises’ awareness of fire safety during high-temperature periods and enhance their skills in fire prevention, firefighting, evacuation, self-rescue, and the ability to address potential fire hazards, the West City Subdistrict Working Committee, in accordance with its annual supervision plan, conducted an inspection and emergency drill for fire safety at enterprises within the subdistrict. Qunsheng Doors and Windows actively responded by inviting fire safety experts to assist in making all necessary preparations for the drill, thereby ensuring its smooth execution.

As the pre-set smoke devices in the workshop were activated, the fire drill officially began. Some frontline employees responded swiftly, reporting the sudden fire incident to their superiors. Meanwhile, the safety officer arrived on the scene and, after confirming the fire’s status, immediately activated the corresponding emergency evacuation plan and dialed the emergency hotline. Following the predetermined evacuation routes, employees from all departments covered their mouths and noses, bent low, and rushed out of the workshop. In less than three minutes, everyone had safely evacuated to the designated assembly point.

Fire safety expert Ying Zhuoren explained to the employees the precautions to take before and after using a fire extinguisher, including how to check whether the extinguisher is in good working order, how to remove the safety pin, how to hold the nozzle properly, and how to aim the nozzle at the source of the fire and spray. Production Office Director Luo provided additional guidance based on the workshop layout.

Subsequently, under the on-site guidance of fire experts and safety officers, everyone followed the relevant operating procedures and key techniques, picked up fire extinguishers, aimed them at the source of the fire, and successfully extinguished the blaze. This hands-on practice further enhanced their firefighting skills.

The fire hydrant system is a facility designed for firefighting and fire control. It mainly consists of components such as fire hydrants, fire hoses, and fire nozzles. In the event of a fire, it can quickly deliver large volumes of water to the fire source, effectively controlling the blaze and extinguishing the fire. At the scene, four safety officers demonstrated to everyone how to properly use the fire hydrant system for firefighting, showcasing excellent emergency response capabilities and strong teamwork spirit.

Through this fire drill organized and supervised by the subdistrict office, we have further tested and enhanced the frontline employees’ capabilities in responding to fire emergencies and their self-rescue skills, while also strengthening their awareness of fire safety during high-temperature conditions. Moving forward, Qunsheng Doors and Windows will continue to actively promote fire safety knowledge, conduct irregular fire safety inspections, and continuously raise all employees’ fire safety awareness, thereby solidifying the company’s fire safety defenses.
