On July 9, 2023, the 2023 National Green Building Materials to Rural Areas Event for the Door and Window Industry, along with the Launching Ceremony of the National Building Door and Window Installation Skills Competition, were successfully held in Guangdong. The event was organized by the China Building Materials Federation, the Technical Committee for Green Building Materials Product Certification, the Doors and Windows Curtain Wall Branch of the China Association of Architectural Decoration and Renovation Materials, and the Furniture and Decoration Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Green Building Materials to Rural Areas Campaign

The “Green Building Materials to Rural Areas” initiative, prepared by six departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is a rural outreach program aimed at promoting green consumption and boosting rural revitalization. The initiative is led by organizations such as the China National Building Materials Federation, which has established an implementation task force together with relevant entities and is working closely with pilot regions to carry it out.
