The national standard GB 17565-2022, “General Technical Requirements for Anti-theft Security Doors,” adopted by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Security Alarm Systems and the Subtechnical Committee for Physical Protection Equipment, will come into effect on January 1, 2024. QunSheng Doors & Windows was one of the key drafting units for this standard. On December 25, the company held a training session on the General Technical Requirements for Anti-theft Security Doors, led by Dong Xuefeng, Manager of the Strategy Department, and attended by all members of the Marketing Center.

At the meeting, Manager Dong provided a detailed explanation to the participants on various aspects, including updates to the “normative reference documents,” “terminology definitions,” “grading, classification, and marking,” and “technical requirements” of the General Technical Specifications for Anti-Theft Security Doors. He also conducted a comparative analysis between the old and new standards of the “General Technical Conditions for Anti-Theft Security Doors.” In addition, Manager Dong reminded the sales staff to clearly define their sales targets and thoroughly understand the differences between the old and new technical standards, thereby ensuring smooth contract signings. Meanwhile, drawing on the current market situation, Manager Dong highlighted several key considerations that sales personnel might encounter during the sales process and offered an analysis of the strategic landscape and development trends likely to emerge in the doors and windows industry in 2024. Finally, Manager Dong shared the national standard GB 17565-2022, “General Technical Conditions for Anti-Theft Security Doors,” with all members of the Marketing Center, encouraging them to use it as a valuable reference and promoting active learning.

The GB 17565-2007 “General Technical Requirements for Anti-theft Security Doors” has been in effect for more than a decade and has played a positive role in guiding the research, development, production, and quality enhancement of anti-theft security door products in China.
