To carry forward the spirit of selfless dedication and mutual love and assistance, and as the 19th World Blood Donor Day approaches, our company has actively responded to the government’s call and organized, on May 26 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the first floor of the company, a voluntary blood donation event hosted by the Yongkang City Blood Donation Office. Party members and employees who meet the eligibility criteria participated in this event, under the organization of the Party Committee of Qunsheng Group. Our party members exemplified the spirit of selfless volunteer service by taking the lead and enthusiastically encouraging everyone else to join in the voluntary blood donation drive.

The warm afternoon sunlight of May gently streamed down, filtering through layers of lush greenery and casting dappled shadows on the ground. Taking a brief respite from their busy schedules, everyone gradually made their way to the first-floor lobby, where, guided by medical staff, they smoothly completed registration, examinations, and blood draws in an orderly manner.

In the blood donation vehicle, they lined up neatly and orderly. Among the volunteer participants in this blood drive, some were experiencing their first blood donation and felt both curious and nervous, while others had participated many times before and were already thoroughly familiar with every step of the process.

Previously, whenever she passed by a blood donation vehicle, she never had the courage to go in and donate—but this time, she seized the opportunity and mustered up the courage to do it. “Although I was a bit scared before donating, after finishing the donation, I felt an incredible sense of pride!” Xiao Wang’s face was radiant with a bright smile.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble act undertaken to save others’ lives—a lifelong source of honor. Although legally, citizens are not obligated to donate blood voluntarily, healthy and eligible citizens who consciously and willingly give a small amount of their renewable blood to save the lives of critically ill patients without seeking any compensation are actively promoting the spiritual civilization construction of “Healthy Zhejiang,” supporting the development of the blood donation cause, and fostering a positive atmosphere of voluntary blood donation throughout society.
